Communication is a key component to a
healthy congregation. This section of
the web site contains the different methods
of formal communication used at our church:
Beacon, Directory, Prayer
Chain, Web Page, and Welcome
Packet.

Beacon
Our weekly church publication referred to as "The
Beacon" is produced weekly by the staff of the
Lancaster Church of Christ.
|

Directory
Our picture directory contains photographs, phone
numbers, emails, and addresses of all of our
members. We have recently upgraded our
ability to generate this document for ourselves. If you need
an updated picture or are a new member, please let
a staff member know so a picture can be taken.

Prayer
Chain
The power of prayer is an incredible thing.
Our Prayer chain is designed to let the congregation
know as soon as possible when an emergency request
for prayer comes in. The prayer chain is a
list of members that have volunteered to be on call
in case of a prayer emergency. When a request
comes in, the first member is called, that member
then calls the next member on the list, and the
sequence is repeated until all on the list have been
contacted.

Our Web page was started by Bill Venrick in 1999.
In 2006, he passed the torch onto Keith Malcolm.

Welcome
Packet
Our New Member Welcome Packet is provided to all
of our new members. The packet acts as an aid
to help new members get acquainted with the
different programs in our congregation.
