Our
Pre-school program is an outreach ministry of Lancaster
Church of Christ. Our educational purpose is to
provide a Christ-centered atmosphere where children
will know that God loves them and experience a variety
of opportunities that will develop a firm foundation
for future learning. We believe in working with
the total child, encouraging development of his or her
potential in the areas of spiritual, emotional, social,
intellectual, physical and creative growth.
This
pre-school program is for 3 to 5 year olds Tuesday mornings
from 9:30 to 11:00 a.m. The children participate in
crafts, singing, puppets and snacks. There will
also be featured special events such as a petting zoo,
magician, and etcetera throughout the year.
There
is NO COST for the class.
We
are also encouraging interested moms to participate
in a program designed specifically for mothers of pre-schoolers.
We’re calling it “Sonshine for Moms.” “Sonshine
for Moms” will be meeting at the same time as the Tuesday
School.
It
will feature guest speakers, crafts, Bible studies and
refreshment breaks to meet other moms and develop new
friendships. An attended nursery, as well as a
2-year-old class, will be available for any moms participating
in the “Sonshine for Moms” program.
